What are the eligibility criteria for the CLAT exam?Candidates appearing in their qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for the CLAT exam. The eligibility criteria for the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) are as follows: Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in CLAT. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST category candidates). Candidates appearing in 10+2 or an equivalent examination are also eligible to appear for CLAT. Note: Candidates must produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission. Failure to do so will result in the loss of their right to be considered for admission. The exam authority officially declares the CLAT Exam Eligibility every year along with the official notification.
